We recommend replacing the replacement head once a week to maintain optimal physical cleaning and hygiene. If your teeth are more closely spaced, you may need to replace it every 3–5 days. If you need replacement floss heads, you can subscribe on our website anytime to enjoy the best available price.
Each box contains 12 replacement heads. If replaced once a week, one box can support approximately one season (3 months) of daily between-teeth cleaning. If your teeth are more closely spaced or you use it more frequently, we recommend ordering every 2 months. We recommend using the “Subscription Plan” on our official website for a better price and automatic delivery when it’s time, helping you maintain your daily oral care routine without interruption.
SLATE floss is 100% free from toxic chemical coatings such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFAS). We use uncoated woven floss made from medical-grade ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, completely free from Teflon, providing a safe and gentle flossing experience.
The nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA) added to SLATE floss heads is a gentle mineral ingredient inspired by natural tooth enamel. We use it as a natural alternative to fluoride. With excellent enamel-friendly properties, it helps provide an exceptionally smooth and clean feeling while physically removing hidden soft buildup.
The classic black and white heads have no flavor or coating and focus on pure physical cleaning. The light blue heads (nHA) are infused with natural nano-hydroxyapatite, offering a gentler, smoother cleaning experience. All colors of floss heads are made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and are guaranteed to be free from harmful substances such as PTFE.
